Amethyst had grown old from the dream of the past, but it has since been revitalized and has an important role presently.
From the Seer: “Amethyst is excellent for banishing the frequencies of viruses. It helps clear density from the wearer without becoming tainted itself. ”
Amethyst’s song of hope is Establishing friendship with the hidden realms, and to do this, we must have cut ties of neediness to illusions of external reality that keeps us overpolarized in the small, egoic self.  It activates the center at C4 on the spine. It can be very beneficial to wear when around those with whom we have challenging dynamics, to become the observer that is no longer being corded to.
Almine points out that the darker colored ones are best for clearing density, while the light colored stones are able to cut cords that have formed from neediness. Both light and dark can be worn together and they have complementary functions in purifying the body. Darker colored amethyst also helps with clarity of mind and of knowingness.
The activated Amethyst pendants come in 4mm beads up to 8mm beads, and some are dark purple and others lighter.
Whatever amethyst you have, it can be placed on the third eye to direct its energies where it needs to go in the body. It need not be placed on the afflicted area of the body directly.
Jewelry pieces may be used for meditation (on the 3rd eye), as power objects worn during the day, and even for setting up alchemy on a healing altar for specific situations or loved ones. Amethyst and Ghosts of the Past
The ties that bind the hearts and minds of man create ‘ghostly realities’ that act as overlays to obscure the present moment of creative power. When we cannot see through the overlays, the past pollutes the present, and we repeat the occlusions of the past, causing repetitive cycles that take us deeper into density.
The moment well-lived rewrites the past — it dissolves its hold on us and frees us from repetitive and karmic baggage. The color amethyst has the potency to clear the ‘ghosts’ of the past, so that we can show up anew in the present moment, and open to a future of new possibilities.
As the ties that bind dissolve in body, so too do repetitive circumstances clear as they have become obsolete.

Amethyst to Clear Viruses
When we live ghostly realities, we are not self-transparent…With occluded sight, the tendency is to manipulate the environment to give us our needs rooted in the neediness of self-abandonment. The pattern of using others or situations to satisfy our lower needs invites the expression of viruses in the body. Through the powe4r of Amethyst to dissolve the ties that bind and clear the distorted ‘overlays’, our capacity to be self-transparent means that viruses will not manifest easily in our bodies.
